Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero will miss time due to a low-grade high right ankle sprain sustained in Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The team announced the injury on Saturday, though no formal timetable for his return has been set.
The Magic expect Banchero to be out for multiple weeks. He experienced discomfort in the first quarter but continued to play before sitting out the fourth quarter of the 115-93 loss.
Banchero was averaging 24.5 points and 7.5 assists per game this season.
